I know first-hand how it feels to be alone in the classroom. 
Some days I went home wondering if I had done enough, or if my students truly felt a sense of belonging. I wanted every learner to feel supported, but I often wasn’t sure how to make that happen.
I discovered better ways to support my students. 
When I shifted my approach—exploring structured literacy, equity-centered practices, and strategies that valued students’ identities—I saw my students thrive. The data showed that they made more progress in literacy than I have seen before! They also felt a stronger sense of belonging in the classroom, school, and community.
I saw a difference. 
Every teacher deserves to feel supported and included. 🪴
As a proud South Asian educator, I’ve experienced both the joy of being who I am and the challenge of sometimes feeling misunderstood or unseen. I wish I had mentors I could truly relate to—it would have helped me feel less isolated.

That’s why I share what I’ve learned: so all teachers can feel supported, empowered, and connected. My goal is to make teaching more joyful and impactful with evidence-based strategies that actually work in real classrooms.
